Dubai Police adds 330kmph McLaren Artura to supercar fleet

Dubai Police has expanded its renowned supercar patrol fleet by introducing the McLaren Artura. This latest addition is the result of a strategic collaboration with McLaren Dubai, Performance Tuning.

The existing fleet already boasts an impressive lineup featuring vehicles from Aston Martin, Bugatti, Ferrari, Bentley, Porsche, Lamborghini, as well as luxury speed boats and a 3D-printed SWAT supertruck.

The McLaren Artura, a next-generation hybrid supercar, enhances the Dubai Police fleet with its advanced aerodynamics, ultra-light supercar engineering, and potent electrified power derived from the twin-turbocharged hybrid V6 engine.

This collaboration aligns with the UAE's commitment to fostering collaboration between government entities and the private sector. The McLaren Artura will now join Dubai's globally recognized fleet of patrol cars.

Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, emphasized the significance of this partnership, stating, “This strategic cooperation between Dubai Police and McLaren Dubai, part of the Juma Khalifa Al Nabooda Group, a renowned Emirati company, continues a strong tradition of beneficial collaboration between the UAE’s public and private sectors in pursuing civil unity and social cohesion."

The McLaren Artura, a plug-in hybrid ultra-light supercar, seamlessly transitions between petrol and electric power. Built on the advanced McLaren Carbon Fibre Lightweight Architecture (MCLA), it features a V6 twin-turbocharged hybrid petrol engine, an eight-speed transmission, and a compact e-motor. Weighing 50kg less than a V8, it boasts the highest PS/litre per KG of any V6 on the market.

Maintaining the signature McLaren cockpit and advanced driver focus, the Artura delivers exceptional driving dynamics, lower emissions, faster throttle response, and the capability to operate in pure EV mode. With a top speed of 330kmph and an acceleration of 0-100kmph in just 3 seconds, it stands as one of the fastest supercars available.

Simultaneously, the Artura is the most fuel-efficient McLaren ever produced, with CO2 emissions as low as 104g/km.
