This is the most common question that I am asked by overseas clients when they see the amount of construction for the first time, read one possible response here

Over the last three years, we have experienced a shift in the market with a much greater demand for more affordable quality properties coming from expat residents who are making Dubai their home for longer periods and want to escape the rental trap. 

These are the properties that Dubai’s growing middle class can afford and which coincidentally also tend to provide investors of "Buy to Let" properties a higher rental yield combined with the potential for mid to long term capital growth.
