A new statistic released by the Dubai government states that almost 30 per cent of Dubai’s property is owned by women. 

The number of female buyers is growing, and in Q1 2018, they invested AED4.4 billion in the Dubai property market, and AED 27 billion throughout 2017, as per Dubai Land Department (DLD) data.

When buying a property here, it is important for all buyers and especially non-muslins who may not want their wealth to be allocated according to Sharia law, to register a will that will distribute their estate according to their preferences. Read more here

  • I have been recommending Studio One in Dubai Marina as an investment and as a home, since the day of its launch. My enthusiasm and support for the project was rewarded this week as I was the first Dubai agent to be given a tour of the construction site. They have now reached the 23rd floor (8 more to go) and are building at the rate of one floor a week with a plan to deliver keys to owners in March 2019.   • Emaar has announced a pre-Ramadan offer running until May 10, which suggests that more offers from them will be available shortly afterwards. 50% off the normal 4% DLD fee, 50% off the first years’ service fees and a payment plan across the board of 2 years post-handover.
